The administrative staff and teachers of Moscow-based Letovo School have recently visited Ayb School to participate in “Modern Trends in Education” masterclasses and an educational program for exchange of experience.
Upon arrival, the guests toured the school to get acquainted with the Ayb environment; then they discussed the philosophy and mission of Ayb School and its educational structure, the curriculum, peculiarities of the administration model and the organization of the learning process with Executive Director David Sahakyan and Head of Community Anna Akopyan.
The first seminar for the guests was held by the Head of Teachers Professional Development Department. Afterward, Project-Based Learning (PBL) Araksya Martirosyan and David Sahakyan dwelled on PBL principles. Executive Director of Ayb Educational Foundation Sona Koshetsyan talked about the hybrid education program while biology teacher Zara Karabekyan held a seminar on research education.
Accompanied by Russian language teacher Kima Vaneskehyan, the guests enjoyed a tour to Armenia’s sights. They also visited Dilijan Central School, which is a part of Ayb family.
The three-day visit was accomplished in Ayb School with a traditional dinner in the cafeteria, where the program participants were handed certificates. Thus, one more educational institution was added to the list of Ayb partners.
