Learning of the subject Pre-military training at the Ayb High School is a three-day summer camp. This summer camp is somewhat like the life of soldiers, who serve in the Armed Forces of RA․
The camp of the 2017-18 academic year was held in "Park Resort" of Aghveran. According to Ayb School PMT teacher Hrachya Petrosyants, the main purpose of the camping is to bring students closer to army life, to develop team spirit among them, and the most important students will have practical skills from subject PMT.
This year the camp was held in 3 stages: first, July 1-4, second, July 9-12, and the last round on August 21-24.
On the first day, participants learned field training and the basics of first aid. After the training, the students were supposed to gather their room and then deal with the cleaning of the camp area. In the evening, the students played a variety of sports games, and at the end of first day they talked to Hrachya Petrosyants about the discipline and lieutenant colonel after talking appointed sentries and gave the command sleep.
The second day began with gymnastics, then the theoretical lesson on shivering mobility went on followed by the practical lesson of the same subject. The next subject was first aid, which topic was how to help people in shock. This lesson also consisted of theoretical and practical components. At the end of the day there were sporting events and talks about the situation in the region and Armenian economy development.
The third day began with gymnastics in the morning, followed by a theoretical lesson on "Reflection of fire under the fire, on the spinning side, on the runway" and its practical training. The topic of the first aid was "What to do with fractures?" and at the end of this day were organized sport events.
For the fourth day there was a trip to Ishkanavank.
Arpi Khachatryan, who was transported to Grade 12, said that the camping helped her to become more disciplined and manage time easily.
The students left the camp enriched with knowledge and good memories, and they are looking forward to the next year's camping.
