As part of the Armenian national team, Ayb School’s 12th-grade student Tigran Mosikyan participated in the 19th International Geography Olympiad (iGeo) that took place in Bandung, Indonesia.
The annual competition brought together 177 students from 46 countries, with up to four students on each team. Tigran won the bronze medal as a member of the Armenian team.
The iGeo consists of three parts: a written test, a multimedia test, and substantial fieldwork requiring observation, leading to cartographic representation and geographical analysis.
