What is SAT?

The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.

The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.

What's on the SAT: The SAT contains 3 sections: Reading Writing & Language Math (No Calculator & Calculator Sections) The SAT format includes 154 multiple-choice questions. The chart below provides more insight into what each section of the SAT includes:

How to register and apply for the SAT test?

Registering for the SAT test is a very easy process and like most examination, for SAT too you have to apply online.

1. You need to register online and create a profile on the College Board website.

2. You need to fill the complete SAT application form thoroughly on the website and create a corresponding student profile for yourself.
3. Once all the personal and educational details filled, you need to select the test and test centre for the examination.
4. Then you have to upload a clear photograph of yourself on the form.
5. After this, you have to pay the respective examination fee online and submit the application.
6. After submission, once your examination admission ticket is available you only need to print that for your examination.

Please check the information on College Board website for:

• The detailed list of items you must and can have with you on the Test day,
• What you can`t have during the Test
• ID requirements,
• Calculators that can be accepeted for using during the Test,
• Test start time and time to be at the Test venue

Our test center Ayb school, code 60465, is located in Yerevan, at 11/11 Tbilisyan highway. Please ask the security staff at the entrance of the school to find your testing room.
